  1. Installation location:

  1. The working length of the sensor should be greater than the maximum stroke of the machine tool, so as not to damage the optical ruler.

  2. As long as the sensor installation surface is not a machined surface, a gasket or a user-made installation block must be added to the sensor body surface to ensure the stability and reliability of the connection between the sensor and the installation surface.

  3. When installing the sensor, the parallelism between the sensor body and the machine guide rail should be less than 0.1MM, and the maximum should not exceed 0.15MM. When the working length of the sensor body is greater than 1000MM, a mounting block should be installed to ensure the sensor body and the guide rail. parallelism.

  4. The two sides of the reading head and the sensor ruler should be parallel and symmetrical, and the gap between the reading head and the sensor ruler in the height and low directions is 0.

  Between 8MM and 1MM, use spacers to adjust the gap during installation, and remove the spacers after installation.

  5. The fixing of the signal line must take into account all the relevant moving distances. The fixing position should be in the center of the stroke as much as possible, and the excess lines should be tied and fixed.

  6. The grounding wire should be connected to the right, and its grounding resistance must be less than 10Ω when measured with a multimeter

  Comply with Abbe's principle as much as possible; ensure good relative movement of reading head and housing; avoid direct contamination and do not hinder operation and use.

  2. Installation precautions

  1. The sensor opening direction must avoid contact pollution such as iron filings, oil and water, dust, etc.

  2. After the sensor is installed, it is best to install a dust cover and a gap of 0.5MM between the ruler body. When moving the reading head, avoid contact between the dust cover and the ruler.

  3. Detection method

  First of all, the parallelism of the sensor and the guide rail should be corrected to ensure that it is within 0.10MM. Then open the digital display box, start the machine tool, and observe whether the count is normal. If it is not counted, the connection between the digital display box and the sensor should be carefully checked. , the reading head can be moved to one end of the housing, and the digital display box is placed

  Zero, move the reading head, and observe the comparison between the displayed value of the digital display box and the standard reading value, which should be within the error range. If it is out of tolerance, carefully check whether the installation size and position meet the requirements.

  Fourth, maintenance and maintenance

  1. The sensor and digital display (box) should be placed in a dry and suitable temperature machine position.

  2. The outgoing cables should be fixed on the machine tool.

  3. The sensor should not be disassembled arbitrarily during use.

  4. The connecting screws should be tightened and not loosened, so as to avoid loss of accuracy.

  5. The instrument should be kept clean. The dust-proof rubber at the opening, such as sand and waste, should be wiped off with soft paper. Be careful not to wipe it into the instrument. After a year of use, the inner surface of the shell should be wiped with a dry and clean spun gauze cloth or cotton with a little alcohol and ether mixture, do not wipe again, to prevent surface damage.
