Whoever masters the sensor masters the data, and whoever masters the lifeblood of a country
Whether it is "Industry 4.0" advocated by Germany, "Industrial Internet" promoted by the United States, or "intelligent manufacturing", the main direction of China's manufacturing industry, it is always the information technology revolution of the third industrial revolution, and there is always an inseparable core. The key - "sensor".
Sensors: Another main battlefield for future information security that cannot be ignored
In recent years, the global sensor industry has made a series of major breakthroughs, which have been widely used in various fields such as social production and life, national defense construction, etc., leading a new round of technological industrial revolution, and its future industrial growth rate is expected to reach 30%.
Due to the lack of top-level design, scattered resources, pale and weak basic research, lagging research on new materials, lack of high-end talents, and low industrialization rate in my country's sensor industry, most of them are "clone" products, and almost 100% of mid-to-high-end sensor products are imported.
Sensors are another main battlefield for future information security and international manufacturing competition. If our country ignores this field, it will make national defense, social and economic security face severe challenges again. It can be said that whoever masters the sensor masters the data, and whoever masters the lifeblood of a country.
The next main battlefield of international competition
Sensors are the "core" of Made in China 2025. The construction of cyber-physical space (CPS) in the United States is inseparable from the support of sensors. The core of German Industry 4.0 is to connect products, resources, machinery, and people through the "Internet of Things" to realize end-to-end integrated intelligent manufacturing technology and In the intelligent production mode, this combination and interaction must also realize information collection and automatic control through sensors.
The core of Made in China 2025 is the integration of industrialization and industrialization, and the main direction is "intelligent manufacturing", which is the application of information technology in the industry under the new situation. Production quality, efficiency and product precision. For example, the automobile production line is equipped with sensors as a positioning and detection method, which monitors the running status of the whole line in real time, and the automation level is greatly improved, which significantly improves the assembly accuracy and production efficiency, and effectively controls the product quality.
Sensors are the core components of German Industry 4.0. The future of manufacturing lies in data, and data comes from sensors. In 2013, the German Fraunhofer Association, Siemens Group, and the German Academy of Engineering promoted the German Industry 4.0 strategy and introduced the concept of industrial software and production control systems. The lowest basic application layer is embedded with a large number of sensors with perception and recognition. These Sensing components carry all the necessary information required for smart factories and smart production operations, and collect various information from the production environment, such as temperature and humidity, material ratios and processes of production lines, and distribution of smart logistics. Iterative R&D provides the necessary feedback and is the integration of the entire production value chain. After entering Industry 4.0, Siemens and other companies will master the important basic data of the manufacturing industry, reasonably judge the actual production situation and production demand of various products, master the future product strategies of other companies, and lead the development of the future manufacturing industry.
The domestic demand for sensors is huge. There are about 3.5 billion sensors in the world. In 2013, the global market value of sensors for consumer electronics was 15.27 billion US dollars. The scale of my country's sensor market has maintained a growth rate of 15% in recent years. There are about 1,700 companies, and the scale of my country's sensor market exceeded 130 billion yuan in 2013. The "Twelfth Five-Year" Development Plan for the Internet of Things proposes that during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, we should focus on breaking through the development bottleneck of the sensing manufacturing industry, improving sensing technology and transmission technology, and promoting the high-end development of sensors.
The "Twelfth Five-Year Plan for China's Electronic Components" also proposes to invest 500 billion yuan, providing a broad space for the development of sensors. In the next five years, the sensor industry will continue to maintain a rapid growth trend. By 2015, the demand will reach nearly 20 billion, and the sales are expected to exceed 150 billion yuan, which will comprehensively drive the development of related industries.
Sensors have gradually penetrated into all fields of national defense, society and economy. With the deepening of the new round of science and technology and industrial revolution, the application scope of sensors has become wider and wider, from traditional industrial and automotive electronic products, communication electronic products, special equipment for consumer electronic products and other fields to military engineering, aerospace technology, medical, medical, and other fields. The fields of electronic equipment such as environmental protection and meteorology have spread rapidly, and their applications have penetrated into all walks of life in the national economy. Sensors used in new fields have accounted for about 15% of the market. At the same time, sensors have the characteristics of many varieties and small batches. According to incomplete statistics, there are 12 categories, 42 subcategories, more than 6,000 varieties, and more than 20,000 specifications. There are many product specifications and scattered applications. For example, an ordinary family car needs about Install dozens to hundreds of sensors.
Sensors open the door to convenience for information collection. While promoting the digitalization of industrial intelligence, sensors may also become the key to opening Pandora's Box. It is very convenient to collect data and information through sensors, and due to the large volume and wide range, it is difficult to be effectively controlled by my country. Information security faces new challenges and is at stake. . For example, a foreign construction machinery equipment company is exported to my country. The equipment has a large number of built-in sensors to record various information such as slope, ambient temperature and humidity, excavation weight, and times during the operation of the equipment. Geographical surveying and mapping data seriously endanger national defense and economic security. Many foreign research institutes are studying the emotions extracted from your body and nervous system using various types of optical sensing, which can understand the user's mood through facial expression recognition. In the future, wearable devices (such as Google Eyes), which are inserted through sensors, can record the user's location information and surrounding sound waves and image information. Foreign institutions can quickly grasp my country's social and economic data through this device.
The sensor is an international oligopoly, and my country relies heavily on imports. Global sensor resources have a trend of oligopolistic aggregation, and large foreign companies dominate the sensor market. Accelerate the expansion from the high-end market to the low-end market, and the monopoly situation is increasingly apparent. Although there are many sensor companies in my country, most of them belong to small and micro enterprises, with few core technologies and weak innovation capabilities. For example, foreign samples (prototypes) are generally analyzed and mapped in China. At best, they are a bit integrated and innovative, which basically belong to "clone". The development of new devices is rare. The domestic sensor product series is incomplete, and high-end and high-precision products are imported in large quantities. There is a big gap between foreign countries in terms of measurement accuracy, temperature characteristics, response time, stability, reliability and other indicators. At present, sensor imports account for 80%, and sensor chip imports account for 90%. Such as high-precision, high-stability low differential pressure sensors (range ≤ 1KPa), high differential pressure, high static pressure sensors (range ≧ 3MPa, static pressure ≧ 60MPa), there is no domestic supply capacity, basically rely on foreign imports.
Advancing the sensor one-stop plan
my country should promote the linkage between intelligent manufacturing engineering and industrial strong foundation engineering. Since 2015, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has launched a special campaign for intelligent manufacturing, taking intelligent manufacturing engineering as the main direction of "Made in China 2025" to make breakthroughs, involving standards, engineering, pilot demonstrations and other directions. The implementation of intelligent manufacturing projects, the popularization of digital factories, and the establishment of pilot demonstration workshops cannot be separated from the application of sensors. However, the technical level and industrial application capabilities of sensors in my country are obviously insufficient, which leads to the promotion of intelligent manufacturing. Foreign sensors have to be purchased in large quantities.
my country should set up a sensor special project in the industrial strong foundation project, focusing on solving the core problems in the implementation of intelligent manufacturing in my country; in the implementation process of intelligent manufacturing engineering, enterprises are required to use more than 50% of the sensor products supported by the industrial strong foundation project, and Incorporated into the consortium; at the same time, support companies that have made breakthroughs in the sensor industry, take the lead in formulating corresponding intelligent manufacturing industry standards, and use standards to drive the development of various fields. Through the linkage of these two major projects, the barriers from breakthrough to application of products will be broken, and the maximum effect of special financial funds will be brought into play.
In addition, the implementation of industrial strong foundation projects should be accelerated to implement chain breakthroughs. In 2013, my country launched the industrial foundation project. In the past four years, the central government has invested only about 4.1 billion yuan, accounting for about 10% of the total investment, involving the "Made in China 2025" new generation information technology industry, high-end CNC machine tools and robots, aerospace Ten key areas such as equipment, as well as several areas of concern for people's livelihood, such as stationery, can be invested in the sensor industry.
The sensor technology is intensive and the industry is difficult. High-intensity and continuous investment is required in R&D, engineering and large-scale production. It is suggested that the state strengthen top-level design, increase the investment of special funds for strong industrial bases, implement rolling investment, implement chain breakthroughs in sensitive materials, optical glass, MEMS technology, inspection and testing, personnel training, etc., and use the main engine to drive the development of sensors. In ~10 years, we will comprehensively break through sensor constraints and ensure my country's national defense and social and economic security.
At the same time, my country should explore the establishment of a national sensor innovation center to make up for the lack of a common technology system. Jointly funded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the industrial fund model is used to introduce social capital, and the resources of manufacturing enterprises, universities, scientific research institutes, national laboratories and non-profit organizations are pooled to establish a research team, enterprises, and intermediaries. The national sensor innovation center for technology development and industrialization forms an effective connection chain to solve common technical problems in the industry. According to the development trend of miniaturization, systematization and passiveization, pay attention to material and technology research and development, process design, vocational skills training, industrialization and large-scale production, gradually cultivate large-scale enterprise groups with international competitiveness, improve the level of localization, and get rid of my country's Information security may again be at the mercy of people.
