Precautions for using grating ruler:
(1) The power should be turned off when plugging and unplugging the grating ruler sensor and the digital display plug socket.
(2) Add a protective cover as much as possible, and clean the chips and oil splashed on the ruler in time, and strictly prevent any foreign matter from entering the grating ruler sensor housing. The entry of chips and oil can easily cause the grating ruler to read inaccurately or even read no data.
(3) Regularly check whether the mounting screws are loose.
(4) To extend the life of the dustproof seal, a thin layer of silicone oil can be evenly applied on the seal, and be careful not to splash on the glass grating surface.
(5) To ensure the reliability of the grating ruler sensor, the grating ruler surface and the indicator grating surface can be cleaned and wiped with an ethanol mixture (50% each) at regular intervals to keep the glass grating ruler surface clean.
(6) The grating ruler sensor is strictly prohibited from being violently vibrated or dropped to avoid damaging the grating ruler. If the grating ruler breaks, the grating ruler sensor will be scrapped.
(7) Do not disassemble the grating scale sensor by yourself, and do not arbitrarily change the relative spacing between the main scale and the secondary scale. Otherwise, on the one hand, the accuracy of the grating scale sensor may be damaged; on the other hand, it may cause relative friction between the main scale and the secondary scale, damaging the chrome layer and the grating wire, thus causing the grating scale to be scrapped.
(8) Care should be taken to prevent oil and water from contaminating the grating scale surface to avoid damaging the grating scale line stripe distribution and causing measurement errors.
(9) The grating scale sensor should be avoided as much as possible in an environment with severe corrosion to avoid corrosion of the grating chrome layer and the grating scale surface, which will damage the grating scale quality.
