Things to note when cleaning the grating ruler:

1. To clean the three-coordinate grating ruler, use an absorbent cotton ball dipped in anhydrous alcohol, hold the cotton ball in your hand and wipe from one end of the grating to the other end, then replace the cotton ball and continue to wipe with a clean cotton ball. The cotton ball cannot be reused, and be careful not to wipe back and forth. Do not touch the reading head during wiping, and do not let the fibers of the cotton ball stick to the grating. The static electricity of the reading head will adsorb the fibers and affect the reading.

2. When wiping with alcohol, you must pay attention to some issues. Generally, the grating ruler is attached to the base, and only a little alcohol can be used, because alcohol is an organic solvent. If too much, the glue between the grating ruler and the base will fail, and the grating ruler will bulge over time. In that case, replacing the grating ruler will not be worth the loss.

3. The grating should not be wiped frequently, once a quarter or half a year!
